Physiotherapy that takes the time to listen
First appointments run to 45 minutes, so there's room to tell the whole story. You'll leave knowing what's going on, what to do about it and roughly how long it should take. Two minutes from the South Mall, right on the Lee.
- CORU-registered chartered physiotherapists
- Receipts for VHI, Laya, Irish Life Health & Level
- Early morning and evening appointments
Fewer appointments, better spent
We would rather see you four times and get it right than book you in every week for months.
Time to talk
Every first visit is 45 minutes with a chartered physiotherapist, not a quick look and a sheet of exercises.
Plain answers
We explain what we find in everyday language, with an honest idea of how long recovery is likely to take.
Back to your own life
Your goals shape the plan, whether that's the school run, eighteen holes in Douglas or a first marathon.
Four ways we can help
Most people start with a physiotherapy assessment. From there we'll suggest whatever mix makes sense for you, and nothing that doesn't.
- 01
Chartered physiotherapy
Assessment and treatment for back and neck pain, sports injuries, sore joints and recovery after surgery.
- Hands-on treatment and tailored exercise
- Rehab after knee, hip and shoulder surgery
- Running and field-sport injuries
- 02
Clinical Pilates
Small, physiotherapist-led classes that build strength and control around a sore back, hip or pelvic floor.
- Mat and reformer classes
- Beginners through to advanced
- Pre and postnatal options
- 03
Sports massage
Firm, focused massage for tight and overworked muscles, given by a chartered physiotherapist who knows what to look for.
- Maintenance through a training block
- Pre-race and post-race sessions
- Desk-bound necks and shoulders
- 04
Occupational therapy
Practical help to get back to work, use your hands again after an injury, or stay safe and independent at home.
- Return-to-work planning
- Hand therapy and splinting
- Home assessments for older adults
Pilates with a physiotherapist in the room
Our classes run in a bright first-floor studio looking out over the river. There are never more than six of you, and every class is taught by a chartered physiotherapist who knows your history.
Before your first class we do a one-to-one assessment, so you start at the right level and we know which movements to adapt. Plenty of people come to us after a bad back and stay for years, simply because it keeps them well.
- Mat and reformer classes, mornings, lunchtimes and evenings
- A strength and balance class for over-60s
- Six-week courses or flexible class passes
I'd been hobbling along the Marina all winter with an Achilles I had more or less given up on. Niamh spent most of the first session just asking questions, which nobody had done before. Twelve weeks later I ran my leg of the Cork City Marathon relay, and I still do her calf routine at the kitchen counter every morning.
On Union Quay, a short walk from the South Mall
Pay-and-display parking on the quay, Parnell Place bus station just across the bridge, and Kent Station about fifteen minutes on foot. There's a lift to the first-floor studio.
